Annual Meeting Minutes / February 18, 2011

The annual meeting of the members was held on February 18 2011, located at the Clubhouse at Cross Creek, Fort Myers, FL.

Jim Zernzach called the meeting to order at 2:00 P.M. and stated a quorum of the members were present, the notice was posted in accordance to the Bylaws of the association.

Reading and disposal of any approved minutes:  The minutes of February 19, 2010 were unanimously approved by the members.

We thank Cindy and Peg for acting as inspectors of proxies and counting the proxies.

There is no election necessary.   Harry Unglaub and Shirley Wilson submitted the intent to run for the Board of Directors. 

Board members present were Jim Zernzach, Dick Ryan, Bobbie Butler and Harry Unglaub.  Bill Scott was absent.

Marilyn Pemberton gave the social committee report stating they had many events during the year and all events were well attended.  Thanks were made to all the volunteers for all their help to make everything successful.

New Business:    Vote on moving any excess funds or deficit from the 2011operating budget to the 2012 operation budget was 35 in favor.

Jim Zernzach stated the new cleaning service starts Monday and Clint Boyer is no longer with the association but will continue to do some work for owners.

Bobbie Butler stressed the pool area needs attention.   The Board will review costs and get more bids for work to be done.  This will be reviewed at another meeting.

Owner’s comments:  Owner commented about water that lays on the walkway after it rains.   The lighting is dim when the xmas wreathes are displayed.  After discussion it will be looked into a better way to display the wreaths and not be so dark. 

Motion to adjourn at 2:22 by Jim Zernzach and seconded by Bobbie Butler with all in favor.

Organizational Meeting

An organization meeting was held directly following the annual meeting. Directors in attendance were Harry Unglaub, Bobbie Butler, Shirley Wilson, Jim Zernzach and Dick Ryan.

The board appointed the following Board of Directors positions unanimously: 

President:                           Jim Zernzach                      term expires 2012

Vice President:                                 Dick Ryan                             term expires 2012

Secretary:                           Shirley Wilson                   term expires 2013

Treasurer:                           Harry Unglaub                   term expires 2013

Director:                            Bobbie Butler                   term expires 2012

The meeting adjourned at 2:25 PM
