                     BUDGET MEETING OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS

                                                  

    October 20, 2011

                                               

President Maranto called the meeting to order at 9:30 A.M.

 

Quorum established:

Directors Present:        Maranto, Unglaub, Basczcuk, Zernzach, and Ford                    

Budget Committee Members Present:  Chairperson Unglaub, Baszczuk, and Shor

Members:   32                                  

Other:       Yvonne Pischeda: Asst. Treasurer/Secretary

                                                             

Yvonne Pischeda attested that notice of this meeting and a copy of the proposed budget for 2012 were mailed or hand delivered to owners of record on or before October 5, 2011.

 

President Maranto turned the floor over to Treasurer Unglaub.

 

Treasurer Unglaub discussed the 2012 Budget, giving detail to the Reserves. The Board and Mike McCulloch, Golf Course Superintendent, are in the process of obtaining information and cost for renovating the golf course. Unglaub stated the Golf Course Reserve will have adequate funds for this project, no assessment will be necessary.

The increase in monthly assessment to members in 2012 will be $1.00 per month.

 

Unglaub requested a motion to approve the 2012 budget of $103.00 per month per unit be adopted for the Cross Creek Community Association for the year 2012.

 

Motion was made by Unglaub, seconded by Basczcuk, that the Proposed Budget, $103.00 per unit per month, be adopted for Cross Creek of Fort Myers Community Association for the year 2012. Aye votes Maranto, Unglaub, Basczcuk, Zernach, and Ford. Carried Unanimously.

 

President Maranto opened the floor to members for any questions or comments:

 

John Rousseau personally approved the Board’s decision of renovating the golf course.

 

Bob Schommer questioned the number of  years reserves shows for roofing. Unglaub explained that the tile is warranted for over 40 years and the underlayment used today increase the probability that the roofs WILL last that long.

 

Joan Ascenzo complimented the Board and staff on the outstanding job they are doing.
